a Fun-Filled Triathlon Saturday, June 19, 1999

The Smug-a-Thon is a recreational event for hard-core competitors and slog-along sports folks alike. Two different start times allow for both competitive and noncompetitive folks to participate in this fun-filled adventure. The event is open to individual participants or to teams.

Join us for a day of fun in the outdoors, with a 3-mile jog or walk, a 4-mile downstream (no whitewater) paddle, and a 9.5 mile bike ride. All participants will receive ribbons, water bottles, and snacks at designated check points. T-shirts will be given to those who register before June 5 and thereafter while supplies last. A BBQ dinner and ice cream from a famous local vendor will be provided to all participants after the event. Families, friends, and the broader community are invited to join the celebration for $6. The awards ceremony, BBQ party, and community celebration will be held behind the Cambridge Elementary School, School St., Jeffersonville, between 12:30 and 3:30 pm.

Ribbons and Prizes:
All participants will receive ribbons. Prizes will be awarded to competitors.

Start and finish at the Cambridge Elementary School, Jeffersonville
Competitive individuals or teams: 10:00 am Noncompetitive individuals: 10:30 - 11:00 am

Registration and Entry Fee:
$18 per person before June 19; $23 per person day of event. Cash or checks only (payable to SNACC). A contribution to the Cambridge Greenway is included in entry fee.
